About the event

For the past 20 years, ODIS has been providing consultation to clients and assistance with immigration legal services and filings before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). ODIS provides low-cost immigration services for clients who cannot afford legal fees or an immigration attorney. In 2022, a recent federal report stated that more than 4.7 million immigrants in the U.S. were facing deportation proceedings, most of them fleeing their homelands and seeking protection in this country, 3 times more than just 5 years ago. In response to this national immigration crisis, ODIS expanded its portfolio of services by entering in a collaboration with Refugee Support Network (, and hosting a Pro Se Asylum clinic for families. These services are complex and require financial support from the community.

Opening Doors International Services, Inc. is committed to delivering humanitarian and legal immigration and naturalization services in a safe and supporting environment. ODIS, Inc. serves Denton and surrounding counties and is dedicated to serving clients, regardless of financial limitations and without regard to race, religion, gender, national origin, age or disability.

Your financial support is needed to assist clients with immigration services through the Immigration Services Scholarship Program! Please help us help clients in need of free or low immigration legal services by sponsoring the 20th Anniversary Celebration event. Sponsorship levels include $750, $500, $350 or $250. For questions contact Andres Pacheco, Executive Director, at 940.382.0096.
